I'm Martyn, the owner of Wild About Trees. Although the business has been proudly serving customers for the past two years, I bring over 15 years of professional tree surgery experience to every job. Throughout my career, I've worked with homeowners, businesses, farms, estates and local organisations across Cumbria, helping them manage, maintain and safely remove trees of every size.

Do I need permission to remove a tree?

What happens to the branches and wood?
All green waste can be removed and recycled responsibly. If you'd like to keep logs or woodchip for your own use, I'm happy to leave them with you and can reduce the cost significantly.
When is the best time to prune a tree?
The ideal time depends on the species and the reason for pruning. I'll always recommend the most appropriate time of year to achieve the best results while maintaining the tree's health.
Do you provide emergency call-outs?
Yes. If a tree has become dangerous following storms or high winds, contact me as soon as possible and I'll respond as quickly as I can.
